Christ the Redeemer, Rio

Corcovado mountain in the heart of Rio is 750m high. Without the statue of Christ at it's peak, it would only be 700m.

And as far tourist attractions near world tour waves go, it's far superior to the nuclear silos of San Onofre (Trestles), or the nuclear-silo-looking building of Twin Towns (Snapper Rocks).

Last week, a bunch of the boys scored a sunny day and made the most of it by hiking up the mountain and getting a statue's-eye-view of Rio.
