Judging by the amount of hits we get whenever there is anything to do with Germany's first WT surfer on this webpage, the world has gone Lipke mad -- the hottest thing to hit Hambug since the hula hoop.

The German mainstream are warming to his antics big time. From national talk shows to Playboy to Die Welt, everyone with a camera has been hounding the humble rookie in his ancestral home.

In Tahiti last month he was tripped up in cables as a film crew followed his every move. The results of which, for our German audience, can be seen on idiot boxes across the nation, this morning (June 24) on Morgenmagazin, ARD.
